Calm Paws

Calm Paws Australia is a Tweed Heads-based specialised Dog Training and Australian Labradoodle breeding business that aims to cojoin breeding and training to provide puppies with a solid, secure and healthy foundation to life from birth. Calm Paws’ ultimate mission is to enhance the quality of life of dogs by especially focusing on the relationship between dogs and their owners.

At Calm Paws, the focus is not just to breed and train Calm Paws dogs, but also to guide and support all interested dog owners to understand their dog’s needs and emotions in order to develop rewarding and loving relationships with their dogs.

We use specialist training techniques that address temperament, behaviour, emotions and environment to best meet the needs of the dog and their owner.

We only use ethical breeding practices to ensure healthy puppies are bred.

Our breeding dogs are DNA tested and cleared of all breed-specific diseases. We also do screening for hip and elbow dysplasia, and patella. We implement the Badass Breeder/Puppy Culture protocols of ENS and ESI with all puppies during the first two weeks to develop emotionally and behaviourally balanced puppies that feel confident, safe and secure to interact with any environment they may encounter.

Using my specialised dog training background I start coaching puppies in household manners and boundaries, socialised behaviour, self-regulation and calmness. And upon joining their forever families our journey together begins to ensure their puppies develop into well-balanced dogs that have the most fruitful lives sharing lots of love, laughter and all-round good times with their loved owners.
